On January 6, 1915, Demetrius Platon Semelas (1883-1924) together with Maria Dupre founded the Order of the Lily and the Eagle (L'Ordre du Lys et de L'Agle - O.L.A.) “for the revival of the Orphic spirit”. Semelas met Dupre family in 1909. Demetrius Semelas was one of the closest fellows of Dr. Papus (Gerard Encausse), he also was a Secretary of Martinist Order and he revived the Order of the Rose + Cross of the East.
